![]() ![]() I was hired in at the time to be a line operator and advance to Machine Operator. moreĪt Amway I was very fortunate to be hired into the company as a full time employee. The techs WONT LET YOU use your phone if you have nothing to do but check their social media and PLAY GAMES and sit down when their line is running and they have nothing to do! They get onto us about it and its bs! These 2 individuals. We do it anyways as human interaction is human nature and you cant stop that. even though everything has been cleaned! I LITTERALLY stood there for an hour and a half cleaning the same spot over and over as id already cleaned the whole line! You cant talk to anyone unless you want the techs to report it to your coordinator. Half the time the lines arent even up and when they are down they want you to clean. The work environment is absolutely terrible. ![]() AND IF YOU DONT KNOW ALREADY AN MLM IS A PYRAMID SCHEME! The so called "independant" business owners on here are just fake reviews to peddle their "radical new protein powder :DDDDD". Its just placebo! $120 For a small box of "meal replacement" powder that really is just full of soy, powdered milk, and fake "natural" flavoring! They are a scamming mlm company just like younique and all the other ones. $300 For a small thing of anti aging cream that doesnt really work. They are SNAKE OIL salesmen and producers. If you do your research, this company sells overly expensive bs products that dont really work. Not only what the title says but the management does nothing but hassle you about little petty things that overall dont matter in the long run. I would recommend taking an Industrial Engineering position here if available. Went back and forth on major A70 initiatives a few times, having to redo analyses to the point of frustration. The reorg that followed came with some major readjustments that took about 3 months to really get settled in with new structure and leadership.Įxecutive and Director Level Leadership changed their mind a lot when it came to the future of Amway. The 900 cuts in 2021 were a major blow to morale, and still was still low when I left the company (my own decision, not job elimination). Some of the departments outside of operations sometimes went outside of their lane, causing some unnecessary strife. The Group Leaders and Plant Managers are solid, although prepare yourself for some culture shock and office politics. I absolutely positively hated working remote, and started coming into the office daily at the earliest opportunity (If you are on campus every day and make your presence known to the plants, this earns you huge points come review time). Also quite flexible when it came to hours and work location. The job itself was hectic at times, but overall a lot of fun. Got to see many different aspects of the business which was quite fascinating. The Industrial Engineering role at Amway had quite a few different responsibilities ranging from managing large process development projects to creating ERP Routings for new products. ![]()
